Hi,

Just uploaded my theme.  Not even getting broadband installed until Friday.  Theme not finished. Life is a bitch sometimes eh!  Ah well, who am I to complain. Ok guys, this post will be removed eventually once I get broadband at home and not have to disguise doing this at work as work.  If you catch my drift.  I love the Internet.  Yes, completely and utterly sad I know.  This is my first skin of wordpress so go a little easy on it.   This blog will be all about the Internet.  I don’t mean the technical details or the specifications but the history of the Internet, the players and how things ended up the way they are today.  For example why do we use .gifs, .jpgs, .pngs for our images.  The stories and the people involved in the browser wars.  I want to concentrate more on the social aspect of the history.  You can pick any book up and get a tech spec, but I want to discuss WHY and not HOW. Ok, I had better get back to work now.  Shame really as I could feel a long, long, long essay coming out about what I wanted to talk about.  But for now, this will have to do.
